Brown Eyed Girls criticised for portraying a female reproductive organ on “Warm Hole” teaser

With Brown Eyed Girls entering a “Brave New World” with their latest comeback, the group received constant criticisms, however, over the preview clip of their other track, “Warm Hole.”

On November 4th, netizens discussed the subliminal meaning behind the video teaser for “Warm Hole,” which subtly suggested a portrayal of a female reproductive organ. The video started with a 15+ age warning followed by member Gain staring at an apple.

The post also discussed other imageries that provided a provocative representations in the form of the perforated apple, the water from the washing machine and the blender with pink fluid which played continuously until the end.

Although the Korean title of the track is described to be “Worm Hole,” it was further explained that Brown Eyed Girls saying “Warm” was intended to represent a double portrayal, citing more concerns towards its ambiguity.
