IU makes her long-awaited comeback with “Twenty-Three”

After not having an official release since her Flower Bookmark EP in 2014, solo artist IU made her long-awaited comeback with her newest music video “Twenty-Three.”

Utilizing the Alice In Wonderland concept hinted at through the teasers for the track, the LOEN Entertainment artist’s catchy track highlights the difficulty of transitioning from a girl to a woman. Instead of addressing the topic in a serious tone, the popular singer utilizes silly scenes including a cake to the face to explain the confusion of growing up. IU’s self-written lyrics also make a point to relate her current situation with fans.

The track itself is incredibly catchy, with the singer’s unique voice giving it an addictive flavor that has made her a force to be reckoned with on the charts. Makes sure to check out IU’s music video for “Twenty-Three” below!

In other news, the singer is reportedly opting not to promote on music shows, and is instead on focusing on her domestic concert tour, which is set to open in Seoul on November 21st and 22nd.
