These 11 K-Pop Girl Groups Are The Only Third Generation Girl Groups Who Are Still Actively Promoting

While 29 girl groups made their debut during K-Pop’s third generation, only 11 of those groups are still currently active.

Here are the 11 currently active third generation K-Pop girl groups.

1. Red Velvet

Red Velvet debuted in 2014 with the digital single “Happiness.” Their most recent comeback was in August 2021, and they’re gearing up for another comeback in March 2022.

2. MAMAMOO

MAMAMOO debuted in 2014 with their single “Mr. Ambiguous.” Their most recent group comeback was in September 2021.

3. LABOUM

LABOUM debuted in 2014 with the single “Petit Macaron.” Their most recent comeback was in November 2021, and they are preparing to make another comeback in April 2022.

4. TWICE

TWICE debuted in 2015. Their debut title track was “LIKE OOH-AHH.” TWICE’s most recent comeback was in November 2021.

5. OH MY GIRL

OH MY GIRL debuted in 2015 with the song “Cupid.” Their most recent comeback was in May 2021, and they are expected to make another comeback in March 2022.

6. BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK debuted in 2016 with the songs “Boombayah” and “Whistle.” Their most recent group comeback was in October 2020, and they are reportedly working on new music right now.

7. WJSN (also known as Cosmic Girls)

WJSN debuted in 2016 with the songs “Mo Mo Mo” and “Catch Me.” Their most recent comeback as a full group was in September 2021, and the subunit WJSN CHOCOME made their comeback in January 2022.
