K-Pop idols have to deal with malicious people all the time, whether it be rude netizens, bullies, anti-fans, etc. However, there have also been moments where idols decided to defend each other. Here are 4 times K-Pop idols stood up for each other against malicious people.
1. GOT7’s BamBam defending BLACKPINK’s Lisa against malicious netizens
During the 33rd Golden Disk Awards, BLACKPINK’s Lisa received a lot of hurtful comments. Malicious netizens left comments saying that she was just an average Thai woman who looked attractive due to Korean makeup.
After this, many came to defend Lisa, with one of these people being GOT7’s BamBam. He spoke on how he had contacted Lisa to give her support and that Lisa would overcome the situation.
Yes, I heard the news! Actually, I am a friend of Lisa so I already contacted her to give my support. Actually, this issue isn’t a big deal because it originated only from a few people, just like 10 people, so it won’t impact Lisa.
Because she more has people who love and support her. I’ve known Lisa since before debut so I know her well. She has a good heart, is cheerful, and has a good attitude
Even if some people haven’t noticed that yet, time will prove her good heart and nature. Lisa knows about all the love and support, she asked me to say this to her fans, if I got a chance. She wanted to say thank you for all the love and support.
2. BIGBANG’s Taeyang defending G-Dragon from bullies
When G-Dragon got to high school, he was quite nervous, as it was his first time attending a public school. Not only that, but G-Dragon also had already debuted as a singer. This prompted some people to bully him. On his first day of high school, some bullies ganged up on G-Dragon and continuously harassed him with questions about being a celebrity. While G-Dragon tried to ignore the bullies, this only made them angrier.
Thankfully for G-Dragon, he was attending the same high school as Taeyang, who ended up coming to save him from the bullies by pushing them away.
3. IU supporting DIA’s Yebin against a malicious netizen
DIA’s Yebin is a big fan of IU, and she has uploaded several covers of her singing IU’s songs on her Instagram. However, one malicious netizen decided to leave a comment saying that Yebin wasn’t “worthy” of being friends with IU.
Did you know IU gave TWICE’s Nayeon a gift? Only popular people receive love from IU. Not you, Yebin… Get your head straight.. You look pathetic….
Yebin ended up seeing this comment and replied by telling the netizen that she was fine being a fan.
It’s okay because I love her~
However, IU saw this conversation and gave Yebin a supportive message, which Yebin couldn’t believe.
Oh my god…… Senior…🥺💜

Bonus: BTS’s V standing up for Jimin
V once thought his friends were being mean to Jimin, but it turned out to be a big misunderstanding. When Jimin transferred to V’s high school, V introduced Jimin to all of his teachers and friends. However, V later saw that Jimin was alone and assumed that his friends were ostracising Jimin. This caused V to confront his friends about why they weren’t talking to Jimin.
I was surprised so I got angry at my friends and said, “Why are you not talking to my friend?”
However, it turns out that this was all a misunderstanding, as V’s friend told him that they tried to talk to Jimin, but Jimin was so shy that it was hard to start a conversation.
I talked for 20 minutes, but Jimin only answered my questions. He was quiet so I stopped talking.
