There are some familiar names!

Forbes recently published a list called Forbes Under 30 Asia, looking at the next generation of sports and entertainment stars. According to the magazine, it looks at:

…Spotlighting the next generation of talent – on the court and the screen.

There are some familiar names on the list and, in no particular order, here is a look at all of the Korean celebrities mentioned.

1. Hwasa (MAMAMOO)

Alongside looking at Hwasa’s accomplishments as part of MAMAMAOO, the article looks at her various solo achievements. Her 2020 hit “María” earned her the accolade of the first Korean female soloist to get number one on the U.S. iTunes Albums Chart.

2. Bae Suzy

As one of the most popular female actresses in Korea, Forbes looked at her extensive list of roles from her debut in 2012 to Start-Up in 2020. The article also looked at Suzy’s huge social media following, making her the second-most popular Korean actress on the platform.

3. IU

It seems as if there is no space large enough to list all of IU’s outstanding accomplishments throughout her career! From topping Billboard‘s World Digital Song Sales chart, being the most-followed soloist in Korea on Instagram, and an accomplished actress, there is nothing she cannot do.
