And the members, who have all gone their separate ways and signed under different labels, were also incredibly enthused to be sharing the stage once again.
In a recent behind-the-scenes video uploaded to CL‘s official YouTube channel, all four members are riding in the bus together on the way to their performance.
They easily show off their comfort with one another as CL teases Dara (also known as Sandara Park) for being a “showman.”
Wow, she is such a showman, isn’t she?
And as they adoringly call Park Bom a sunbathing cat for napping on the ride.
A cat sunbathing.
And Dara also shares that she brought something for the Coachella performance to remind the group of when they used to perform together.
I brought Gan Jjamppong, a lot. Let’s have them together.
Gan Jjamppong is a brand of Korean Chinese spicy noodle soup that, according to Dara, 2NE1 would always eat after performances.
Gan Jjamppong is what we have always eaten after the show on tour.
Back when 2NE1 was actively promoting, Dara used to skip eating Jjamppong to maintain her abs.
I had skipepd it to keep my abs at that time, and I gulped it in the green room as soon as the show was over.
But, as soon as they finished performing, she could eat it to her heart’s content.
And so, Dara purposely brought a lot of Gan Jjamppong for the members to relive their nostalgia.
I brought them to bring the memories back.
And in the behind-the-scenes video, once the members finish their Coachella performance, they all eagerly eat IN-N-OUT together.
But Minzy doesn’t forget to remind her members that they still have the Gan Jjamppong to eat.
We need to eat Gan Jjamppong.
And Dara assures her that she hasn’t forgotten and that the staff are already making it.
They’re making it now.
Although bringing the Gan Jjamppong was a simple gesture, it proves just how much 2NE1 was excited for the opportunity to reunite and have closure both for themselves and their fans.
