Harper’s Bazaar released some photos from their latest pictorial with BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo.
It has been 6 months since her last shoot with the fashion magazine, and a lot can happen in that amount of time. Jisoo was asked what she has been up to since then, and shared that she has taken time for herself.
I feel more calm because I took some time alone after the tour. When I’m alone, I sleep a lot, and I dream every time I sleep, so I haven’t been bored.
When asked whether she enjoys going through change and challenges, Jisoo opens up and reveals that she is not in pursuit of challenges, however when there is a challenge before her, she doesn’t turn it down. She also shared that this shoot made her happy because of it’s different atmosphere from her last pictorial.
This shoot made me feel happy because it has a different vibe from the previous one, but rather than feeling worried, it’s more fun to try out new things.
Jisoo added that she wanted to learn something new, so she started drawing!
I wanted to learn something, so I started drawing. It was my dream to become an artist when I was younger, but suddenly I thought, ‘Why am I bad at drawing?’ It’s so fascinating to how the vibe of the drawing transforms when you add a drop of water, or when you choose not to.
Before the interview ended, Jisoo made sure she delivered her heart to BLINKs and thanked them.
When I perform on stage and see our fans filming us, I feel a sense of responsibility to do well. That moment may be a once in a lifetime opportunity for some people. I want to give back the love that they have been giving me. These moments are the motivations behind BLACKPINK and Jisoo. Thank you for being with me this year.
