Of course, that doesn’t come as too much of a surprise. As the biggest group in K-Pop, BTS likely faces a lot of risks and threats, so their huge events and concerts must need plenty of security. However, what may surprise you is just how large the group’s team is.

According to Jeong Seung Min and Yang Tae Il, BTS has a whopping 150 to 200 bodyguards and security personnel working for them! On top of that, their concert staff numbers reach around 200 employees per event.

While you may think that guarding the stage at a BTS performance would be the most challenging part of the job, Jeong Seung Min revealed that there’s a more difficult task the bodyguards face. Even with so many guards on site, Jeong says the most difficult part of BTS’s security protocol is dealing with the audience outside the venue.

The more popular [the artist] is,” Jeong went on to say, “The harder it is to deal with other parts rather than guarding the performance itself.” Thankfully for ARMYs and the BTS members themselves, it seems the security team does a great job of keeping everyone safe.
