BTS‘s RM is only 25-years-old, but he is already looking toward his 30s, and what the future has in store for him.
In Episode 3 of BTS‘s Break The Silence docuseries, J-Hope revealed his fears as an idol, Jimin shared his happiness, Jin opened up about his lost friendships, Jungkook described BTS’s invisible connection, and much more.
RM has always been introspective, but his wisdom grows deeper each year. Although he can’t predict the future, he wonders if he can prepare for it.
Honestly, I constantly think about what my life will be like when I’m in my thirties, and how I should prepare for it. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I’ll take my music further.
“Basically, I’ve been planting my roots in this field,” he said. “meeting people all over the world, showing them what I have to offer, and people have been coming to see me. I’ve been witnessing these things in my life.”
“However, it may seem, fundamentally, that I’m living a good life. I think that this thought has helped me want to live life to the fullest.”
Although he is curious about the future, RM’s focus continues to be on the here and now.
I’m not trying to decide now how I’ll perform as a BTS member when I’m in my 30s or in an unknown future that’s outside of my control.
“Doing best in the things that are right in front of me is the best way that I can answer the question of my existence.”
