BTS Makes Billboard Chart History With Their Japanese Song “Film Out”

“Film out” is taking the crown from “Dynamite”.

Once again, BTS is making music history and proving that they are their own greatest competition!

On April 2, BTS released “Film out”, a single from their upcoming Japanese-language album BTS, the Best. The song was co-composed by Jungkook and Back Number‘s Iyori Shimizu for the Japanese movie Signal.

“Film out” has now become the first Japanese song to ever debut at No.1 on Billboard‘s “Digital Song Sales Chart,” replacing BTS’s own song, “Dynamite”. Thanks to “Film out”, BTS is now the first act in history to chart songs in three languages (Korean, English, and Japanese) on this chart.

The week has just begun, but ARMY already has much to celebrate. In addition to making Billboard chart history, BTS also achieved 1 billion views on YouTube for their “Dynamite” music video! Watch it here:
