BTS’s J-Hope Reigns Supreme On Spotify, Makes History With New Record

He’s making history!

BTS‘s J-Hope is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry!

J-Hope

Back in 2019, J-Hope became the “Most Followed Korean Solo Artist” on Spotify and the first Korean soloist to reach two, three, four, then five million followers on the platform. In May of this year, J-Hope broke his own record again by surpassing six million followers.

At that time, J-Hope climbed to No. 165 on Spotify’s “Top 200 Most Followed Artists.” Now, just a few months later, J-Hope is making history again! As of today, he is officially the first and only Korean solo artist to claim a spot in the “Top 125 Most Followed Artists” on Spotify!

It’s a big day for BTS! In addition to J-Hope’s Spotify record, the group has two other achievements to celebrate. Suga‘s Agust D discography has now surpassed one billion streams across Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud. This comes just a day after fans celebrated the fifth anniversary of Suga’s first mixtape, AGUST D.
