BTS will perform, along with Adam Lambert, Alessia Cara, Andrea Bocelli, Angélique Kidjo, Billie Eilish, Burna Boy, Camila Cabello, Coldplay, Davido, Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, and many more. The event promises to be Global Citizen’s biggest festival yet.

There’s going to be live audiences all around the world. So we will have a full 60,000 audience in Central Park. We will have a full audience in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. This is not like what we did last year; this is live-live. This is the whole world, literally and physically tens or hundreds of thousands of people coming together for this moment. This is the biggest thing we’ve ever done by far.

At this time, it is unknown which songs BTS will sing, but fans can likely expect to hear their new single, “Permission to Dance.” Some speculate that a collaboration performance between BTS and Ed Sheeran, who co-produced the song, could happen, but for now we’ll have to wait and see!

Global Citizen Live will take place on September 25. It can be experienced on various platforms and networks, including ABC, ABC News Live, BBC, FX, iHeartRadio, Hulu, YouTube, Twitter.
