BTS ARMY Gets Clowned, Yet Again, By Samsung’s “Galaxy Unpacked” Event

“Galaxy Unpacked” wasn’t exactly what fans were expecting it to be.

For the second time in seven days, BTS fans have been slapped with “expectation vs reality”.

On August 5, Samsung Mobile live-streamed their highly anticipated “#SamsungEvent”, featuring Galaxy brand ambassadors BTS. “Galaxy Unpacked” promised to pull out all the stops, but did it deliver?

For some ARMYs, the answer is no. Many hoped to see BTS perform, but in reality, the members appeared just long enough to do a 30-second unboxing segment nearly two hours into the show.

Viewers were expecting to see much more of BTS, but 30 seconds is better than no seconds, right?

By now, most ARMYs have already accepted their “clown” status. After all, this isn’t the first time they’ve been thrown for a loop by BTS content, and it probably won’t be the last.

On July 30, Columbia Records clowned ARMY with their “Surprise! There’s no surprise,” countdown for BTS’ comeback. Read all about it here:
