BTS V’s OST “Christmas Tree” Has Finally Been Released In Full, And ARMYs Can’t Get Enough Of The Track

ARMYs worldwide couldn’t hide their excitement when it was announced that BTS‘s V would be singing an OST for the K-Drama Our Beloved Summer. The K-Drama, starring V’s bestie Choi Woo Shik, has been the topic of many netizens, and ARMYs have been eagerly anticipating another epic V OST as an early Christmas present!

Since the announcement, only snippets of the track have been released, and it already had fans worldwide highly anticipating the day when they could hear the whole song!

Dubbed as one of the most anticipated OSTs of the year, the track “Christmas Tree” managed to rank on Billboard‘s Trending Songs Chart even before the track was released, all because of the snippets shared.

With this small snippet, fans worldwide started sharing their thoughts on the song, and one person who thrilled the world after sharing the track was fellow Wooga Squad member and actor Park Hyung Sik.

On his Instagram, Park Hyung Sik shared a snippet from the new drama, highlighting V’s voice. In the captions, he wrote, “Our beloved summer…with V.” V showed that he was definitely still finding joy in using Instagram, writing, “Commenting heh.”

On December 24, the full version of the song was finally released on streaming websites, and a music video was shared with V’s beautiful and velvet voice being played with clips of the K-Drama.

 

The slow tempo ballad allowed V to showcase his beautiful vocals. Along with the romantic nature of the K-Drama clips, it seemed like the perfect track for any occasion! As expected, ARMYs took to social media with their reactions to the song as soon as the track dropped.

Yet, it wasn’t just fans’ reactions on social media that showcased just how excited ARMYs were.

After the track was released, it seemed like social media was full of accolades that the track had achieved within a few hours of being released, including being the fastest solo song in history to score #1 in over 50 countries on iTunes in just over two hours. It even managed to dethrone a classic Christmas carol on Bugs on Christmas Eve.
