BTS To Speak At White House Press Briefing Before Meeting President Biden

First stop, press conference. Next stop, Oval Office.

Today marks a historic day in K-Pop history and BTS‘s career. As both musicians and cultural ambassadors for South Korea, these seven superstars are using their influence to make the world a better place.

Today, BTS will meet with the President of the United States, Joe Biden, to discuss racial discrimination, anti-Asian hate crimes, Asian inclusion, and the importance of diversity. The meeting, which will take place a 3 PM (ET) in the Oval Office, will be closed to the press. BTS will, however, make a public appearance before meeting President Biden.

At 2:30 PM (ET), BTS will attend The White House Press Briefing by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Here, the members will deliver “brief remarks” to the public.

Although reporters will not be in attendance for BTS’s meeting with President Biden, The White House Press Briefing will be live-streamed on The White House’s official YouTube account.
