Dana has made an official apology through her agency, SM Entertainment, for her words and behavior on a live broadcast.

 

During an Instagram Live session, Dana had not only blamed her fans for being the reason for her solo album’s failure but also gave the middle finger and wielded a knife during the broadcast.

Fans were also disappointed to see her dangerously use her smartphone while driving.

 

In response to the criticism she received for her behavior, the singer has made an official statement apologizing for her actions.

“First of all, I sincerely apologize for causing inconvenience. I am deeply reflecting upon the displeasure and pain I have caused with my wrongful actions and words, and dangerous and excessive behavior during my private SNS live broadcast.”

She apologized for disappointing many despite everyone’s support and made a promise to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

“Everything was due to my carelessness. Many provided their sincere support after seeing my transformed appearance so I am very sorry and ashamed for disappointing them. I will pay attention and be careful not to let something like this happen again. Once again, I bow my head in apology.”
