We just know he’ll win another award for this!

In a new statement, CJ ENM reveals EXO D.O.‘s new movie, The Moon, has finally finished filming. Here’s what D.O. had to say about the experience.

Alongside a shining singing career as EXO’s main vocalist and a solo artist, D.O. is also one of the most highly accomplished and praised idol actors. Since making his acting debut with a supporting role in the movie Cart back in September 14, D.O. has gone on to act in numerous dramas and films over the past seven years.

Those roles have gone on to earn him award after award, from “Most Popular Actor” at the 2019 Baeksang Arts Awards for his acting in 100 Days My Prince to “Best Male Acting Idol” at the 2019 Brand of the Year Awards. Now, he could be about to scoop up even more trophy nominations with The Moon.

The Moon is said to be the first-ever Korean movie about lunar exploration. In the film, D.O. plays Seon Woo, a space crew member stranded alone. A-list actor Sul Kyung Gu (The Merciless, Public Enemy) plays the role of a former space center leader who’s trying to rescue Seon Woo.
