According to King Kong by Starship Entertainment’s press release, they have announced that Dasom has decided not to renew her contract with the agency.

After sufficient discussions with Dasom, who has been with us for 11 years, we have decided not to renew our contract together.

We were happy to have her with us, both as a member of SISTAR and as an actress. She has shown such versatile charms over the past 11 years. Our official contract is over, but we sincerely support her next moves. We ask you to send your warm attention and encouragement to Dasom, who is making her new start.

Dasom debuted with SISTAR in 2010, and made a name for herself as part of the “summer queens” group. She since transitioned into acting, appearing in JTBC‘s Was It Love?, tvN‘s He Is Psychometric, and SBS‘s Band of Sisters.
