FTISLAND’s new reality show given a 19+ rating

FTISLAND’s new reality show Coming Out! FTISLAND, scheduled to air starting in early April, has been given a rating of 19+, as confirmed on March 31st.

With the decision, Coming Out! FTISLAND becomes the first idol reality show with a 19+ rating. The production team stated, “Although it is well-known that FTISLAND is really straightforward, even the team was taken aback by the shocking comments that the members made on the show. Therefore, we decided we need to show the audience the free-spirited side of FTISLAND.

To this, vocalist Lee Hongki told the production team, “Don’t keep us within a boundary. We want to show the real side of us in the show.” This is not surprising, as Hongki is well-known to be extremely honest in front of the camera, as he even showed anger towards FNC Entertainment’s CEO on Radio Star recently.

The show was first confirmed back on March 15th, and is expected to consist of five weekly episodes. The reality show complements FTISLAND’s first Korean comeback after more than a year.

Don’t miss the show beginning on April 7th!
