Actress Han So Hee Confesses She Gained 22 Pounds For Her Role In “My Name”

She’s digesting her badass character in every way possible.

Actress Han So Hee has been busy with her back-to-back productions, as she only recently concluded her activities for her JTBC series, Nevertheless. While it’s only been a few months since her last K-Drama ended, the actress has been making headlines for her image transformation for the upcoming Netflix production, My Name.

In a recent interview, the actress revealed that not only did she diligently prep for all of My Name‘s action scenes, but that in doing so, she gained a bit of muscle weight.

Since I have been exercising a lot and eating a lot as well, I gained about 10 kilograms (22 pounds).

The actress shared that due to her role in My Name, she was forced to keep up with her workouts, which she revealed has increased her athletic abilities.

My Name follows the story of Yoon Ji Woo (played by Han So Hee), who will do whatever it takes to avenge her father’s death. As she infiltrates a drug gang, she becomes a mole for the police department, which is where she meets Detective Jeon Pil Do (played by Ahn Bo Hyun.)
