Jang Geun Suk steps down from tvN’s “Three Meals A Day – Fishing Village Version”

Jang Geun Suk is reported to have dropped out from tVN’s outdoor variety show Three Meals A Day – Fishing Village Version.

It was previously reported that actor Jang Geun Suk had joined the cast for Na PD‘s new variety show. However, due to his tax evasion case, he has decided to drop out of the program.

According to CJ E&M‘s press release on January 15th, it was decided that, “It was not the right time for Jang Geun Suk to appear in the show. So, it was discussed with Jang Geuk Suk’s side to leave the show.” The portions that Jang Geuk Suk filmed before the premiere of the program will be edited out to the best of their ability.

CJ E&M initially confided in Jang Geuk Suk’s agency and has acknowledged that it has been revealed his tax evasion was not done intentionally, however, they have took into consideration the viewers’ concern over his appearance on the show.

Due to the reaction of the viewers, the production crew of Three Meals a Day – Fishing Village Version have decided to push back the release of the first episode from Friday, January 16th to the 23rd, in order to make the appropriate changes to the editing of the video.
