MONSTA X’s Wonho Absent From Comeback Promotions Due To Health Concerns

Wonho had to step back from MONSTA X’s recent comeback promotions due to his health.

Wonho had run additional tests when his cold symptoms didn’t seem to die down.

Starship Entertainment confirmed they pulled Wonho from promoting and he may be suffering from meningitis.

For his safety and speedy recovery, Wonho didn’t participate in the group’s comeback showcase.

He was saddened to have missed out on their promotions because he worked so hard for their new comeback.

However, they are hoping that he will be able to participate in the M! Countdown filming on November 9th.

Hello. This is Starship Entertainment.

We wanted to notify the fans that Wonho will be unable to participate in the upcoming MONSTA X’s 5TH MINI ALBUM <THE CODE> COMEBACK SHOW-CON, set for today (7th) at 8pm.

Wonho started exhibiting cold symptoms since last Sunday, so he received medical treatment and took some time to rest. However, the symptoms didn’t get better so he visited the hospital to receive CT, MRI and other tests. The results showed a possible case of meningitis, so he is currently undergoing a close examination.

Although we’ve received any thorough results, we have decided to pull Wonho from the media showcase and COMEBACK SHOW-CON for the safety and fast recovery of our artist.

We will notify everyone of Wonho’s condition once we receive the final examination results.

We apologize for the inconvenience to everyone who has been anticipating MONSTA X’s comeback and THE 5TH MINI ALBUM <THE CODE> COMEBACK SHOW-CON.

As much as Wonho and the MONSTA X members prepared for the first album since their 1st world tour [BEAUTIFUL], they are most sorry and regretful to deliver such a sudden news.

We ask for the interest and love for MONSTA X’s THE 5TH MINI ALBUM <THE CODE> for the members have worked so hard for its release.

We will do our best to show a good image.

Thank you.
