NCT 127 Makes History With Performance At Global Citizen Festival

Another remarkable achievement by NCT 127!

On September 28, The Global Citizen Festival was held at Central Park in New York City. It is an annual music festival that is hosted by the Global Poverty Project, and is part of a movement to help end extreme poverty. With a dazzling line-up like Queen, Adam Lambert, Alicia Keys and more iconic names in the biz, NCT 127 made history by being the first K-Pop artists ever to perform at the festival!

As special guests of the festival, they performed a two-set stage: the English versions of “Highway to Heaven” and “Superhuman” for a crowd of fans that went 60,000 upwards in number! They also talked about how honored they were to be at the festival and to be able to aid in the fight against extreme poverty.

It’s very heartwarming to be able to participate in an event like this for such a good reason. As much as it’s for a good cause, we’re going to give it our all today. I hope everyone feels that from us today, and I hope everyone can relate to this as well. —Mark
