Super Junior‘s Choi Siwon celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the UNICEF Korean Committee. He uploaded pictures of him to his Instagram showing him in a suit giving a speech on stage at the event.
He captioned the photo: “44 years of global assistance, 25 years of helping children around the world.”
UNICEF Korea was launched in January 1994, transforming the country from recipient to donor. During the Korean War in 1950, UNICEF started an emergency relief program for Korean children and women. Later, when the economy improved, the Korean National Committee was established.
Super Junior has been incredibly busy promoting their first comeback album in ten years, but despite their busy schedule, Siwon managed to make time for a meaningful event like this one.
