The new hosts, Yeonjun, actress Roh Jeong Eui, and actor Seo Bum June, started the job strong by performing a special stage to BTS‘ “Boy With Luv” and overall leaving a lasting impression.

Fans are incredibly proud of Yeonjun’s first day.

Beyond showing his MC skills, Yeonjun also impressed netizens with his height. Standing at around 181.5 cm (5′ 11″) tall, Yeonjun is not the tallest TXT member, but there’s no denying that he is tall. With his body proportions, Yeonjun looks even taller.

When standing next to other groups with shorter average heights, his height is even more noticeable. One such group was Stray Kids who visited Inkigayo to promote their song, “MANIAC.”

Yeonjun stood next to Changbin during their interview. At 167 cm (5’6″), Changbin is the shortest member of Stray Kids.

To be fair, Yeonjun was standing downstage from Stray Kids, and it seemed that he was wearing platform shoes, but it was still quite amusing for fans to see such a stark difference in height.

More importantly though, fans couldn’t help but love the interactions between Yeonjun and Changbin. As ’99 liners with birthdays a month apart, the duo have previously gained attention for their cute friendship.

Changbin showed his love by giving the most adorable hand heart to Yeonjun.

And Yeonjun made sure that Changbin’s strap was fixed after he touched his shoulder. He knew just what to do to make everyone feel comfortable!

Fans were happy they could witness these small gestures and hope that they can see more of these two besties’ friendship in the future.

We are wishing Yeonjun all the best for his new role at Inkigayo, he’s a natural!
