TXT’s Soobin and OH MY GIRL’s Arin Replace Actress Shin Ye Eun And Golden Child’s Bomin As Music Bank MCs

The first appearance is on the 24th of July.

With the news of actress Shin Ye Eun and Golden Child‘s Bomin leaving their posts as MCs on Music Bank after a year of activities, many were curious as to who would be filling in their shoes. On the 17th of July, Shin Ye Eun posted a goodbye tribute on her personal Instagram, thanking the program for their care throughout the one year.

Music Bank representatives have finally announced that TXT‘s Soobin and OH MY GIRL‘s Arin would be the new MCs for the weekly chart show.

Arin debuted in 2015 under WM Entertainment and her group’s most recent comeback, “Nonstop” faced huge success on the charts, with 8 crowns and a longstanding first place on music sites. She has also been trying her hand acting in web dramas including The World Of My 17, based off a popular webtoon. Her bubbly and adorable charms as a maknae is sure to stand out as she tries out her first MC role.

On the other hand, Soobin hails from BigHit Entertainment. His group, TXT, is highly popular both internationally and domestically, winning the rookie of the year award upon debut, along with 10 crowns on music shows. Their most recent album, The Dream Chapter : ETERNITY took first place on iTunes Top Album charts in 50 different countries. His global popularity is a great fit for Music Bank as the show is broadcasted live in 117 different countries each week.

As both new MCs have similarly cute and mochi-like features, they are bound to be a great match on the show as colleagues! We’re looking forward to their first episode as new MCs, set for the coming Friday, the 24th of July 2020.
