Korean Woman’s Death Gets Caught On CCTV As Her Unconscious Body Gets Dragged Around By Her Boyfriend

The gruesome death of a 24-year-old woman in South Korea has started to take the internet by storm due to the CCTV evidence that’s been circulating on news sites.

Back on July 25, 2021, Hwang Ye Jin was violently assaulted by her then boyfriend, Mr. A and she was left unconscious. Unfortunately, she would never regain consciousness again. One month later on August 17, Hwang Ye Jin tragically passed away after succumbing to her injuries.

Two months following her death, CCTV footage of Hwang Ye Jin’s last conscious day has started to make an appearance on different news sites. The disturbing footage shows the violence Mr. A used on his then girlfriend to knock her unconscious.

According to JTBC‘s news report on the CCTV footage, Mr. A got into a physical altercation with Hwang Ye Jin before knocking her out unconscious. While this tragic incident happened on the first floor of the building, the CCTV cameras recorded Mr. A dragging an unconscious Hwang Ye Jin into the elevator—all the way to the eighth floor.

In the footage provided by JTBC, Mr. A can be seen dragging Hwang Ye Jin’s unconscious body into the elevator. In the clip, her neck can be seen getting bent into obscure angles, while her face gets dragged all over the floor. According to the reports, blood stains can be seen in the CCTV video where Hwang Ye Jin’s body once lay, indicating the severity of Mr. A’s attacks.

Following an investigation, the police confirmed that Hwang Ye Jin passed away due to the injuries she sustained from Mr. A’s physical attacks. The police stated that “in four acts of violence, he [Mr. A] inflicted damage to her skull, brain, and neck—which resulted in her death.”

While Hwang Ye Jin was still alive in the CCTV footage recording, Mr. A only contacted emergency personnel at the very end, which was too late for his girlfriend. During his 911 recording, he lied about the situation, stating that “[he] was trying to move her head but he accidentally hit her. She passed out from it because she had drank too much that day.”

Mr. A’s first trial was on November 4, 2021 on charges of injury and homicide. May Hwang Ye Jin rest in peace.
