YG Entertainment clarifies the delays in PSY’s “Daddy” release

YG Entertainment releases a statement on the delays in releasing PSY’s latest single, “Daddy” and updates fans on his possible album release next year. 

According to YG Entertainment, PSY’s single “Daddy” was inititially scheduled to be released last summer, but due to his ongoing album preparations, the single release was inevitably postponed. It was further explained that “Daddy” will be included in the latest album that PSY is working on, which is planned to be released early next year.

They have also debunked speculations that PSY cancelled the release of the track, stating that the singer have filmed extra scenes for the music video two weeks ago. With regards to his upcoming album, the agency is planning to release at least 3 music videos, including “Daddy.”

“Daddy” received much hype from the fans a few months back after it was announced the release was imminent following “Hangover.” Fans have also anticipated actor Jung Woo Sung’s participation for its music video.

Meanwhile, aside from preparing for his latest album, PSY is also psyching fans for his upcoming concert 2014 All Night Stand in Seoul on December 19th to 21st and 24th.
