It has been two years since BTS and Big Hit Entertainment have started the “LOVE MYSELF” campaign in partnership with UNICEF. A reported $2 million USD was raised within this period.
In commemoration of this event, UNICEF Korea Committee announced on October 25 that it will celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the “LOVE MYSELF” campaign. They will open a booth that will showcase a variety of activities in the past two years of BTS’s and Big Hit Entertainment’s efforts to fight violence against children around the world.
In addition to this, UNICEF bracelets with “LOVE MYSELF” and “#ENDviolence” taglines will be provided free of charge to those who have uploaded photos with the hashtags #UNICEF, #LOVEMYSELF, and #FESTA2 on social media.
As a further sign of gratitude, the Lotte World Tower plans to uncover the entire tower in UNICEF’s blue and BTS’s purple colors on the nights of October 26-29. Lotte World Mall will also screen RM’s “Speak Yourself” speech from the UN General Assembly.
