IU is a woman of many talents, and she recently decided to add “destroying a new marriage” to that list.

On October 21st, she sent a wreath to congratulate an acquaintance’s wedding.

On the wreath, IU wrote these words:

“I cheer for your lifelong happiness with all my heart.

Except for November and December.

From IU, the shameless destroyer of new marriages”

The acquaintance is a member of the band who will play with IU at her concerts throughout November and December.

She wanted to apologize because the band member will have to return to work so soon into his new marriage.

With her sense of humor, IU surely brightened what was a sad situation for the couple.
