This Korean artist carves paper into magnificent works of art

Using only an X-acto knife, a pair of scissors, and paper, this artist creates realistic celebrity portraits.

Artist Yoo Hyun only uses an X-acto knife and scissors to cut and carve patterns into masterpieces. His style of artwork consists of carving zig-zag patterns.

Up close, the paper looks like a form of abstract, but if you take a step back you can see some familiar faces of history. By carving different shapes and thickness into the paper, it creates an illusion of a three dimensional portrait.
