Two Of The Sexiest EXO Songs Were Actually Written By Henry Lau And SHINee’s Jonghyun

The choreography for these was iconic!

A fun fact that some fans may not know about EXO is that two of their sexiest songs were actually written by these other famous SM Entertainment artists: Henry Lau, who is a former member of Super Junior-M (the Chinese sub-unit of Super Junior), and Jonghyun from SHINee.

The demo version of “The Eve,” written and sung by Henry, now has over 7.5 million views on YouTube. Henry is no longer represented by SM Entertainment but luckily we have “The Eve”!

Despite not being a title track, the dance practice itself currently has over 134 million views—which is understandable given the song’s iconic choreography.

Similarly, another of EXO’s masterpieces, “Playboy,” was actually written by SHINee‘s Jonghyun. Jonghyun was an incredibly multi-talented artist and lyricist, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he produced such a great song for EXO. “Playboy” is a song full of personality.

Although it wasn’t title track either, it certainly made fans go wild when EXO performed it onstage. With its suggestive choreography and lyrics, it makes for one of EXO’s most memorably sexy stages.

It’s nice to know that these songs written by EXO’s super-talented peers had such success! Both are definitely fan-favorites and have their special place in the prestigious collection of EXO’s sexiest songs.
